Prehistoric Planet : Ice Age - Gigantopithecus

Concept art and creature design done for the AppleTV/BBC series PrehistoricPlanet : Ice Age. 
This was our take on Gigantopithecus. Trying to lean away from obvious “giant Orangutan” look. The fur is based on Orangutans fur that I discoloured to give it a different twist.
